Hi there! Richmond here too! Graduated from VCU in May 2004, now in public relations. Didn't go to the book signing, but made it to the DC show. Did anyone else have a heart attack when she covered "Like a Prayer" or was it just me?

;D YAY! I was there too! I missed the book signing but was at the DC concert... I can't wait for the boot to be released: I was the girl that screamed "I love you Tori" and then some guy stole my thunder saying he loved her more (I sincerely doubt that). Anyway, when she played Like a Prayer I was one of those people that clapped polietly at first and then applauded like mad when it dawned on me what she was doing... amazing cover and I feel so lucky to be there when that girl came out!

Lupa- That was such a cute moment in the show! Tori's reaction was priceless. As soon as I heard the words "life is a mystery," I grabbed my friend and was like "OMG! Like a Prayer!" I still say we had one of the best shows, if not the best Piano Bar. Although I am jealous others got Father Figure and Magic Man. Thank god for tapers! I'm so glad she's decided to stay solo for the fall tour. Can't wait til those dates are announced!

I think we got the best piano bar too!! Although I canNOT wait until Personal Jesus comes out... I've been hearing it's amazing and it's one of my favorite Depche Mode songs as it is... I wonder if she does that breathing thing they did in their song....? <gazes off in distracted imagination>
Regardless I'll definitely go to at least one concert for the next leg... hopefully more depending on the school/work schedule. I have to admit though, I am a little disappointed that there won't be a band this time around. I love the texture of when the boys join her on stage. But I'm not complaining!! I'll be there unless she goes from Georgia straight to NY. I wonder if she's going to keep doing a piano bar...? <gazes off again...>
